Solgar's AC-11 vegetable capsules are are a unique, patent formula containing water soluble Uncaria tomentosa bark extract, a herb native to the Amazon rainforest and used for over 2000 years by native South American Indians for its healing properties. These capsules are Kosher and suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians. They are free from salt, sugar, starch, yeast, wheat, soy, gluten, dairy, artificial preservatives, flavourings and colours.

Each Solgar AC-11 vegetable capsule provides 350 mg AC-11 (Patented Water Soluble Uncaria tomentosa Extract (bark) [8%] and carboxy alkyl esters (CAEs)). Also included in each capsules is microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearic acid, silicon dioxide, vegetable magnesium stearate and hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
As a food supplement for adults, take one (1) vegetable capsule one or two times a day, preferably at mealtimes, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the directions for use.
AC-11 helps maintain DNA health. It protects DNA against oxidation and naturally advances the repair and rebuilding of DNA damage caused by free radicals. It is thought that cells are prone to up to 10,000 oxidation attacks per day and whilst antioxidants are important in neutralising free radicals it is likely that some cellular damage will still occur. AC-11 helps to increase DNA repair enzymes that are necessary when this type of damage occurs, thereby ensuring that healthy genes are maintained. Studies on AC-11 have shown that supplementation also leads to an increase in white blood cell counts leading to a more "alert" immune system and a healthier response to inflammation.
