Each Solgar Full Potency Saw Palmetto capsule provides Raw Saw Palmetto Berry Powder 300mg and Standardised Saw Palmetto Berry Extract (68-75mg [45% 50%] free fatty acids)150mg, PhytO2X (powdered blend of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid). PhytO2X is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.
For adults one (1) to three (3) vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Saw Palmetto is a very potent protector of the prostate. It is thought that Saw Palmetto reduces the concentration of certain chemicals (DHT) in the male body that cause the enlargement of the prostate (called Benign Prostate Hyperplasia).
